ABOUT MY ORDER

After submitting your online order, you will receive an email to confirm we have received your order. Please note, this does not mean your order has been confirmed. Once your order is fulfilled you will receive courier details and tracking number. This does not mean your order has necessarily been collected by the courier, just scheduled for collection.

HOW WILL MY ORDER BE PACKAGED?

At Seed we do our best to re-use and recycle as much packaging as possible and we ask that you try to do the same. 

For us, being neat and brand new is not as important as being green.

 

DO I NEED TO SIGN FOR MY ORDER?

To ensure the safe arrival of your purchase, we require proof of delivery for all orders.

If you are not going to be home at the time of delivery, you can personally contact the courier to request that they leave your parcel in an alternative location. Please note that this is at your personal discretion and means that Seed takes no responsibility for lost parcels.

 

WHY HAS MY ORDER BEEN CANCELLED?

Sometimes we may have to cancel an item from your order, due to the item going out of stock. On occasion, items can show as available on the website when customers place their order, but unfortunately go out of stock by the time we come to pick the item (please note, we pick and pack all orders by hand). In such cases, the item will be removed from the website and the stock levels reviewed to avoid a repeat occurrence.

 

RETURNS INFORMATION

If you wish to return something that is not listed above please read the details below.

Items bought online:

  • You must notify us within 14 days of receipt of delivery of any items you wish to return. Please email us at shop@designsbyseed.co.uk detailing your name, order number, the item you wish to return and the reasons for doing so.
  • Once we have received and responded to your notification please return the goods to the following address:

  • Items must be returned unused, in a perfect condition, where possible in its original packaging and must include your receipt.
  • You, the customer, must arrange and cover the cost of the return postage. We recommend that you send it via a tracked and insured service as the goods are your responsibly until they reach us.
  • We cannot credit or refund any return items that go missing in transit or are damaged on arrival.
  • Once we have received the item(s) and established they are in a perfect condition we will issue you with either a credit note or refund as per your request.
  • Please note we can only credit or refund you for the value of the returned product(s) but not the original or return postage cost.
  • We aim to process credit notes and refunds as quickly as possible once we have received the goods.
  • You will receive an email from us once we have issued the refund or credit note which can take up to 7 working days to reach your bank.
  • If after 7 days of receiving our email you still have not received the money please get in touch and we will investigate the problem.

Items bought in store:

  • We cannot refund items seen and bought in store unless proven to be faulty before purchase.
  • We can give an exchange or credit note for items returned to us within 14 days of purchase if the items are returned in a perfect condition with a receipt of purchase.
  • We cannot offer any kind of exchange or credit note for any item returned without a receipt or after 14 days of purchase.

 

IMPORTANT for customers returning goods from outside the EU:

If you are returning items from outside the EU you MUST mark them very clearly as Returned Goods. If they are labelled incorrectly we will be unable to refund you any costs we may incur from customs to release them.
