A mixture of handbuilt, press mould and thrown techniques are used by Creatively Occupied to create these functional, tactile and visually pleasing ceramics. Lines and text are inscribed into the surfaces and slips and oxides applied. This bowl would be a perfect centrepiece to any table. The collection aims to consciously engage the user in the activity of eating following the Japanese notion that the act of eating should feed the eyes and mind as well as sustaining the body.
