Materia Rica

The tale of Materia Rica originated in London when Marta & Joan met in the city and immediately realised that they were destined to launch many projects together, both personally and professionally. They later relocated to Barcelona where they established their studio and showroom, and began to collaborate with international artists such as Gemma Bordes, Miriam Frank, Lisa Junius, Asis Percales and Casita de Wendy, among others.

With a focus on sustainability, the designs created at Materia Rica use FSC-certified wood sourced from local suppliers, enhancing the values of traditional craftsmanship. Each necklace and earring created in the studio is dyed and finished completely by hand.
