Inkloof

Inkloof is a small, independent botanical art studio based in Stromness, in the Orkney Islands, Scotland run by Magda. Magda works predominantly with pencil and ink, with the occasional occurrences of colour here and there.

The idea of Inkloof studio has roots in Magda's interest in wildlife, nature, fauna and flora. As a horticulturist and professional florist for many years, she has had opportunities to design, create and teach about flowers. In her botanical illustrations she aims to capture the complexity of plants with the simplicity of lines.
