The slant range, includes five spheres, one inside the other which are fixed into position. The combination of blue and cream give a freshness to the work and although the texture appears rough, they are highly finished and smooth to the touch. Price is per item.

Matthew makes complex geometric stoneware sculpture and vessels. His primary interest is the actual process of making rather than producing a functional or figurative form, his work is strictly abstract. He explores shape through construction and his forms are precise but have a natural quality.
All sculptures and vessels are made by combining separate thrown sections, constructed together to form one piece. They are highly-finished; sanded at different stages of the process and polished with diamond pads after firing. They appear rough due to the speckled surface effect but are actually very smooth to the touch.
