Delivery Times

We will always try to deliver your order as soon as possible. For furniture deliveries we will try our best to deliver on a mutually convenient day and you will be contacted with available time slots.  Please refer to delivery lead times below for your purchases:

Standard items & Heavy/Large itemsdelivery within 3-5 working days
Furniture itemsdelivery within 2-4 weeks

Weekends and UK Bank Holidays are not considered working days. For standard/heavy/large items our courier service will attempt delivery and will leave a calling card if no one is home to sign for the delivery.  Cards can only be left where there is access to secure post boxes, therefore some shared accommodation and apartment buildings will not receive delivery cards as a matter of security.

To re-arrange delivery you can contact the courier directly using the details on the calling card. If delivery proves impossible or impractical on 2 or more occasions we may need to cancel your order and deduct the original delivery charges from the refund; however we will try to contact you in this case to arrange for a new order to be placed if required.

Due to the special nature of our products, increases in seasonal demand and factors beyond our control there maybe occasional times when longer delivery times occur. We will endeavour to inform you of any such situation to avoid disappointment. 

We are unable to redirect orders once they have been dispatched. 

Online Purchase Returns

At Seed we want you to be delighted every time you shop with us so we've made our returns policy simple. If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, please ensure that the goods are returned in perfect saleable condition, in their original packaging, with tags and tickets in tact, with the completed returns form and invoice as proof of purchase within 14 days of receipt to:

The cost of returning the goods and the safe return of goods is your responsibility until the order is received by us; therefore we suggest you arrange a tracked or recorded delivery service. For high-value items we recommend you insure the costs of goods before you send them. We will issue a full refund to the card once the return has been processed. Please allow up to 10-15 days for a full refund from date of receipt of goods. *Please note: items excluded from this policy are custom made items; limited edition items; special orders; pierced earrings; Christmas decorations; toiletries; fragrance (including home fragrance). Sale items or special purchases bought in the sale or at promotional events may only be returned for exchange or refund (by way of store credit note) if returned in their original condition and with proof of purchase, during the same sale period or promotional event or within 14 days of receipt (whichever is earlier).

Items reduced to 50% or below original retails price cannot be returned. This does not affect your statutory rights. If you wish to return or exchange your online order to store, please contact Customer Services on: +44 (0)1373 228 272 or email enquiries@designsbyseed.co.uk and they will be able to assist you.

In the rare event that goods are delivered faulty or damaged please contact our customer services department on +44 (0)1373 228 272 or email enquiries@designsbyseed.co.uk so we can arrange a replacement or a refund. If the package you receive is damaged or open please do not accept the delivery and contact customer services immediately to arrange a replacement. We will bear the costs to collect the goods and issue a re-delivery.

 

Standard, Heavy/Large Parcels Items must be returned within 14 days of receipt to qualify for a refund or exhange. You will be issued with a credit note for any items returned after this time. Please ensure all items are packaged securely and sufficiently to withstand delivery. Failure to do so may result in Seed being unable to refund you. We recommend that you use insured registered delivery and keep the receipt. We cannot accept liability for goods lost or damaged in transit. Unless the item is faulty, it is returned at your own cost. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Please take care to fully inspect your items to ensure you are happy with them before disposing of packaging as failure to do so may result in us being unable to refund you.

Furniture Cancellation & Returns Policy for Web & Telephone orders

Please note if you purchase furniture from Seed through the website or by telephone you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.  When an item of furniture is delivered to you, it is your responsibility, to check the goods for any fault or damages. You will be required to sign a confirmation that the goods have been delivered in a satisfactory condition.

Your furniture order maybe cancelled within 14 days of receiving the goods. You must ensure the furniture is returned to us in a perfect saleable condition and in its original packaging. Failure to do so may result in Seed being unable to refund you.

 

In-Store Purchases

At Seed we want you to be delighted every time you shop with us so we've made our returns policy simple. If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, return it to the store in its original condition and accompanied by a till recepit within 14 days for an exchange or credit note.  Goods without a receipt cannot be returned.  Please take care to fully inspect your items to ensure you are happy with them before disposing of packaging as failure to do so may result in us being unable to refund you.

Order Cancellations

If you wish to cancel an order placed at Seed please return the confirmation email to us, stating your wish to cancel the order by email to: enquiries@designsbyseed.co.uk or phone our customer service team on +44 (0)1373 228 272. 

If your order has already been dispatched, we will be unable to redirect it therefore request that you follow the return instructions included in the parcel.

 

Fragrance Deliveries

We only deliver fragrances to the following countries in the EU: 

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal,Scotland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Wales 

Please note we do not deliver fragrance outside the EU.
